FAQ

How do I find parts that fit my Corvette?

Start with your Corvette's model year, generation, trim (Stingray, Z51, Z06, Grand Sport, ZR1 or E-Ray), body style (coupe or convertible) and engine. Then shop by generation: C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6, C7 or C8. Each product title and description lists the years and models the part is designed for.

Parts are not automatically interchangeable between model years or generations, even when they look identical. Mounting points, connectors and part numbers can change from one year to the next. If a listing is unclear, or you want to use a part outside its listed application, contact our parts team with your year, model, VIN and the part number before you order.

Do Stingray, Z06, Grand Sport, ZR1 and E-Ray models need different parts and accessories?

Often, yes. Models in the same generation can use different bodywork, wheels, brakes and cooling hardware. A C7 Z06 or Grand Sport, for example, has wider bodywork than a base C7 Stingray, so a side skirt or fender part made for one may not fit the other. Option packages such as Z51 can also change the brake, cooling and suspension setup.

Always compare the models listed in the product title with your exact car. If you are not sure which trim or package you have, the factory option codes on your Service Parts Identification label or original window sticker will confirm it. Our team can help you check before you buy.

What is the difference between genuine GM, OEM, aftermarket and reproduction Corvette parts?

  • Genuine GM: Parts sold by General Motors under a GM part number, the same parts used in factory service.

  • OEM: Parts made by the original equipment supplier to factory specifications, sometimes sold without GM packaging.

  • Aftermarket: Parts produced by independent manufacturers. Many restyle or improve on the factory design, such as performance exhaust systems, carbon fiber hoods and upgraded lighting.

  • Reproduction: Newly made copies of original components, most common for classic Corvettes whose factory parts are no longer produced.

West Coast Corvette carries aftermarket, reproduction and GM products from trusted manufacturers. The product description identifies the brand. A Corvette or GM logo on a product does not tell you where the part was made, so ask us if country of origin matters for your build.

Should I buy new, used or reproduction Corvette parts?

It depends on your goal:

  • Restoration: Choose correct reproduction or original GM parts when appearance and originality matter most.

  • Replacement: New parts give you predictable fit, full return eligibility and manufacturer warranty coverage.

  • Upgrade: Performance parts change how the car looks, sounds or drives, and may require supporting components or professional installation.

How can I find discontinued, hard-to-find or out-of-stock Corvette parts?

If an item is out of stock, sign up for a restock notification on the product page. Our team can also recommend in-stock alternatives or give you an estimated restock date.

For older Corvettes, the search is faster when you have the original GM part number, photos of the part and your vehicle's year and model. Check our used parts and reproduction options, or contact us so we can check availability with our suppliers. Some original components are no longer produced, in which case we will help you find the closest suitable alternative.

How do I make sure wheels fit my Corvette?

Match the wheel to your exact year and model, then confirm bolt pattern, diameter, width, offset and brake clearance. Larger brake packages, such as those on Z06 and Z51 cars, can affect which wheels clear.

Test fit every wheel before installation to confirm clearance at the brake rotor, brake caliper, inner and outer fender and brake cooling duct, and check for trueness or runout in case of shipping damage. Please note that we no longer stock tires. Rims are not returnable once mounted.

Shop Corvette wheels by generation. If you want to keep your factory GM wheels, our Chrome Exchange program ships a chrome plated set first, then refunds your core charge once your undamaged originals are returned within 10 days.

Are Corvette performance and exhaust upgrades legal for street use?

It depends on the part and where you live. Emissions and noise rules vary by state, and some performance parts are sold for off-road or competition use only. It is the owner's responsibility to confirm that a part meets the emission standards and laws in their area.

Before ordering, read the product description for any use restrictions. In California and states that follow California rules, look for a CARB Executive Order (EO) number on emissions-related parts. Then compare your vehicle configuration, valve compatibility and installation requirements. Browse exhaust systems and performance parts, and contact us with any questions.

How much do Corvette parts and accessories cost?

Prices vary by generation, part type, material and brand. A small interior trim piece or car care product may cost far less than a carbon fiber hood, exhaust system or supercharger package.

When comparing prices, look at the total cost: required hardware, shipping, installation labor and any oversized shipping fee.For savings, browse our specials and discounts and clearance collections, and remember that clearance items are final sale.

What warranty comes with parts from West Coast Corvette?

All warranties are at the discretion of the manufacturer. If your Corvette is still under factory warranty, ask your dealer how a specific modification may affect coverage before you install it. Full terms are on our policies page.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Contact us as soon as possible at sales@westcoastcorvette.com or 714-630-6396 with your order number. We can usually update or cancel an order that has not shipped. Custom and special-order items may already be in production and may not be eligible for cancellation. Once an order ships, our standard return policy applies.

How much does shipping cost, and where do you ship?

We ship across the United States and internationally. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.

  • Free ground shipping: Available for a limited time on orders over $99 to the lower 48 states. It excludes oversized items, international orders and APO addresses, applies to retail customers only and cannot be combined with other offers.

  • Oversized items: Additional shipping fees may apply to heavy or oversized items, including packages subject to dimensional weight charges, even when free shipping applies.

  • Expedited shipping: Overnight, 2nd business day and 3rd business day options are available. Next Day Air orders shipped on Friday arrive Monday unless Saturday delivery is arranged.

  • Alaska and Hawaii: Orders ship 2nd Day Air and must be prepaid.

  • International: Orders must be prepaid. Contact us for a shipping quote. Customs fees, duties and taxes are the customer's responsibility.

How long will my order take to ship, and why did it arrive in separate boxes?

Orders ship via standard ground service unless you choose a faster option at checkout. To confirm whether an item is in stock and ready to ship, call our parts department at 714-630-6396.

Custom and back-ordered items ship as soon as they are ready. If part of your order is on backorder, we hold the order until it is complete. You can call us to ship in-stock items ahead for an additional shipping charge. Some orders also ship from more than one location, so items may arrive in separate packages with separate tracking numbers. Check your invoice for back-ordered items before reporting a missing part.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number by email so you can follow your package from our warehouse to your door. If you created an account, you can also review your order history by signing in. If your tracking has not updated or you have not received a tracking email, contact us with your order number.
