Part number 140839BC is meticulously designed to ensure the integrity of both the exhaust system and the vehicle itself. This comprehensive system incorporates both AFM and NPP dual mode exhaust valves, emphasizing a commitment to optimal performance.

The auditory experience is elevated with the inclusion of the ATAK® sound level, renowned for its aggressive tone. This particular sound level not only adds excitement to your driving experience but does so without any unwanted drone. The system incorporates advanced technologies such as the Polyphonic Harmonizer and SwitchFire™ technology.

BORLA®'S Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology is a unique feature that utilizes patented units with pipes of varying diameters and lengths. This creates a symphony of exhaust notes, delivering a clean, rich, and full-bodied sound. The patented SwitchFire™ design, meanwhile, eliminates the turbulent center intersection found in standard X-Pipes, seamlessly blending combustion pulses from both sides of the engine. This results in improved performance and a customized sound profile.

To safeguard the Corvette from exhaust heat damage, strategically placed heat shielding is integrated into the system. The 4" Black Chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips not only contribute to the system's aesthetics but also showcase durability. It's important to note that the use of BORLA® Stainless Steel Polish p# 21461 is not recommended for these black chrome tips; instead, we suggest cleaning them with hot water and a microfiber cloth.

For those with a preference for different tip finishes, the system is also available with Bright Chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips (part number 140839) or Carbon Fiber tips (part number 140839CF). The entire system is constructed using high-quality T-304 stainless steel, exemplifying BORLA®'s commitment to durability and longevity, and is backed by the impressive Million Mile Warranty. The system conveniently ships in two boxes.

A crucial post-installation note: After fitting the BORLA® system, it is recommended to recalibrate the controllers for the AFM and NPP valves in the exhaust system. This recalibration process should adhere to GM Document ID 5406413. For this service, BORLA® recommends consulting your nearest Chevrolet dealer to ensure optimal exhaust valve performance.
