| We also had made these chrome plated covers that simply slip over the factory Corvette hood shocks. This is a safer method than chrome plating the gas hood shocks that other companies offer. It is also a lot cheaper! Each cover is made from brass so the chrome plating will not pit or rust. The cover is designed to slip over the main cylinder portion of the hood shock.
