| This polished stainless cover is made from Type 304 stainless. It is a two piece design that extends down the exposed side facing the engine. Attached to the bottom half is a protective molding. The entire cover assembly can easily be removed to check brake fluid levels. This side is vented similar to our other polished stainless parts. | We also had made these chrome plated covers that simply slip over the factory Corvette hood shocks. This is a safer method than chrome plating the gas hood shocks that other companies offer. It is also a lot cheaper! Each cover is made from brass so the chrome plating will not pit or rust. The cover is designed to slip over the main cylinder portion of the hood shock. Each pair comes with easy to follow directions. |
